Alongside my Anxiety Programme I offer other treatments to support issues related to anxiety, such as my Phobia Management Plan to help you find the cause of your fear and overcome it, or Hypnotherapy Triage, dealing with those other issues that arise and need to be dealt with sooner, rather than later, and last, but certainly not least, Smoking Cessation, helping you become a non-smoker, not an ex-smoker.

Your Own Hypnotherapy Treatment Plan

Our behaviours and responses are all controlled by our sub conscious mind, but sometimes it can get things wrong.  Therefore, I work with you to change the responses from your sub conscious mind and to help you overcome any number of problems.

Using Hypnotherapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) techniques, I will tailor your therapy sessions to target what you need and to help you stop the negative thoughts and patterns, which were causing the problems you were experiencing.

Firstly, I offer a free initial consultation, so we can talk over the phone or via remote video conferencing. Secondly, I will plan your tailored treatment and we will agree, right at the beginning, how many sessions I believe you require. And, lastly, you know how much the treatment will cost you.

However, treatment plans vary from person to person, some may be a single session and some may be longer.

Firstly, Happy New Year!

So, what New Year's Resolutions have you made?
It's a question we'll all hear quite a lot over the next couple of weeks. New Year's Resolutions can be great, but, unfortunately, most of the time they start out well and gradually fade out over the first few weeks of January.

The question for me is - why don't they work, then?

I believe it all comes down to the intention to change. A lot of the time we get caught up in the excitement and even feel a need to commit to something just to show our good intentions. But without the intention to change, to actually put in the effort and follow through, we fail.
We have to want to change, really want it. Without wanting to change the likelihood is we'll fail. I believe that's why a lot of New Year's Resolutions don't work.

But that doesn't mean that we should fail, it means we need to put some thinking into why we are suggesting that particular change and accepting that we'll need to put in effort to make the change actually happen. Permanent change is made for the right reasons and you have to really want to change to make it happen. Simply making a decision to change because everyone does it at this time of year isn't enough.

Deciding to quit smoking as your New Year's Resolution is great, and if you have then good luck to you, but what if you're just not ready? If that's the case, then chances are, on your own, you'll fail and end up still smoking. This is where hypnotherapy can help. Hypnotherapy can help reinforce the reasons for change, help to give you the right mindset to finally quit. And, obviously, this doesn't just work for quitting smoking, it can work for any change that you WANT to make.

Hypnotherapy works with your subconscious mind, giving it help and the right tools to empower the change you want. Your subconscious mind makes decisions before your conscious mind is even aware of it, so making the change through hypnosis can really help you make that change and not go back to your old habits.
